Juillet cafe

Do NOT get the pistachio croissant or cakes. While I often come here to study and enjoy their coffee and sweet drinks, their baked goods are horrendous. The cakes are obviously frozen and very flavourless. Multiple times I have purchased a cake and it was always flavourless, dry, and sometimes still defrosting. It was crunchy from the ice melting. The tiramisu cakes are not even tiramisu, you can't just put cocoa powder on a cake and say its tiramisu??? Box cakes are overpriced and just as bad as the slices. Products are at the same level as Daan Go Cake Lab. Probably baked last year. VERY disappointed. Secondly, I highlight the pistachio croissant as it was even worse than their cakes. 1. It tasted nothing like pistachio. 2. The croissant was like a squashed week old Costco croissant 3. The most egregious part: The filling was similar to unchanged engine oil with green anti freeze for colour. It was basically just highlighter-green molten sugar filling that soaked the deflated croissant. Nothing about it tasted like a pistachio besides the swamp green colour. I appreciate the worker asking me if I wanted it warm saying its better that way, but the only temperature that could make that croissant good is dumping it into a fire. I'm really not picky I eat anything but I could not stomach that croissant. I really wish I took a photo but I was so distraught by the pastry that i forgot to. just imagine a Costco croissant with molten green mush oozing out. Lastly they play the music really loud, particularly the pop songs. its very difficult to hold a conversation. Its okay when they play softer music. On a positive note, I quite like their drink menu. Coffee is decent and sweet drinks are fairly creative and made well. Their iced teas are yummy. Tables are large and there's lots of seating. Workers are nice.

been looking for good matcha lattes for awhile now, this is my new fave spot and the matcha einspanner is soo good

They added a 4 cake mix and match on uber eats but it wouldn’t let me pick more than 1 and when I called them, the person who answered didn’t even know about the deal LMAO. What sheer and utter incompetence. The staff doesn’t even know what’s on their menu and they mislead people into thinking certain deals are available when they really aren’t. They were quick to hide their embarrassing error though but I got proof lmao. Im glad I didn’t spend $30+ on here cause most reviews about the quality and taste sucks anyways.

I really enjoy their cream croissants, they're delicious! However, the cream cakes and crepe cake were just okay, not that great. Hopefully, the kitchen can make them better in the future. I still gave them 5 stars because I've seen they've improved a lot recently, especially with their re-branding.

Best cafe in k town

Food and drinks are very good. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. However my one complaint is the prices; Minimum 5$ for a drink. The menu photos on google are outdated and they also dont sell regular drip coffee anymore :(

I wanted to share my recent experience at your cafe, which has unfortunately left me disappointed. This place used to be my favorite spot, but the recent changes in the barista team have impacted the quality of service. I've been a regular customer, always ordering my favorite pistachio latte. However, since the arrival of a new barista, the drink doesn't taste the same. I've raised my concern three times, but the issue persists. Even when I tried a Spanish latte (half sweet) as an alternative, it also tasted very different. I believe my taste hasn't changed, but the service quality this year certainly has. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it contributes to an improvement in your service, as this place holds sentimental value to me.

real gem. probably the only matcha drink i've actually liked (my wife is crazy about matcha). the pistachio frappe is different and good, and theres a wide variety of foods from cakes to cookies to sandwiches. we had the creme brule cheesecake which was great, not too heavy and perfect for a nice coffee date
