JR's Log House Restaurant

A very nice experience with a good friend. The food and service were exceptional. I enjoyed the country fried steak and gravy. 03/14/2024 - I had a fabulous lunch today. Fish, spinach and peas. Good service and tasty food.

I go here quite often because it’s close to work. Never disappoints.

Best, cheapest breakfast in the area, by far. My daughter and I came in for a Sunday breakfast, before the church rush. We were in and out quick. Got a ton of food for $20. Left full and happy. No food pics because I was apparently too hungry to slow down and take some.

I've been driving past JR's for years and finally made an effort to go for breakfast. I'm mad at myself for not going years ago I've been missing out. JR's is everything I love about a southern country breakfast. Not being a huge meat eater I appreciate the omelets, biscuits and gravy and plate sized pancakes. The staff have been great and the restaurant is clean and smoke free. There is also plenty of parking and seating. Give them a try.

This place has everything perfect except their to-go containers. I wish they try some creative old fashioned containers. Very unfortunate to see plastic containers for really hot Gravy, styrofoam coffee cups with fountain drink lids. Cutting corners to save money and I can not trust their food. Probably good back in the days based on the reviews but not now.

Had a group lunch here, service was excellent and timely. Can't speak to what all the other guests had, but I ordered a burger and it was just ok. Atmosphere is laid back and kind cozy like a cabin.

Great fast breakfast and service. I had the pork BBQ omelette, grits, biscuit, and blueberry muffin.
