Here are some options: Front Parking: There are approximately 10 parking spots right in front of JR’s. If you arrive early, you might snag one of these convenient spots. Street Parking: The best part? Street parking is free! Along the nearby streets, you’ll find ample space to park. Keep an eye out for available spots—you’ll be surprised how easy it is. A Short Walk: If the front spots are taken, don’t worry! I usually park a couple of streets down. The short walk to JR’s is pleasant, and honestly, I don’t mind it at all. It’s a great way to stretch your legs before enjoying the lively atmosphere inside. So, fellow JR’s enthusiasts, fear not—parking is a breeze! Whether you’re right in front or a little further away, the experience at JR’s Grill and Bar is always worth it.

This is my go to bar in Houston for drinks and always have a good time. The prices, the bartenders, the atmosphere, I really cannot complain. We have been going to this bar for quite sometime but we have our go to bartender, Matthew, that is a MUST that we order from. He always makes us laugh and makes sure we are having a good time anytime we come! We will definitely keep returning!

Service time, horrific. On a Friday afternoon/evening, at 3:00 pm, both of the 2 bartenders, busy enough to talk to other guests, but not enough time to serve other guests. Waited 10 min at bar to get served. Both bartenders seemed to be busy enough for "friends" but not enough for customers. Trash service when it comes to day time serving.

Been coming here for 10 years. Always something great going on. Best time for more fun I think are usually Thursdays-Sundays

JRs is a really great place to hang out and chill, whether to start the evening, end the evening, or spend the whole evening. There's different spaces and multiple bars within the establishment each with its own vibe. Matt is my favorite bartender. He's personable and pours a good drink. The back bar and the patio are both really chill areas to hang out and the karaoke bar is soo much fun. Bathroom stalls, however, could use some TLC.

Great hangout spot in Montrose where you can chill and have good conversation without all the overly loud music and smoke (though the karaoke area can kinda serve that purpose, and SoBe is just next door). Amazing service, special shoutouts to Matt and Sterling for being goated bartenders! Altogether my favorite place in Houston to hang

Matt Murphy is one of the best bartenders there in Saturday nights. Always has a friendly attitude! He is one of the main reasons I keep going back to Jrs
