Jopok Topokki

Started in Hongdae, South Korea, we specialize in Korean ‘bunshik’ which became a staple of Korean cuisine during the time of the Korean war in order to combat shortages in rice crops. Thus dishes primarily utilizing wheat grains were created in order to feed the war ravaged population. Most specifically we specialize in Topokki which are Korean rice cakes cooked in a sweet but mostly spicy sauce.
