Very nice employees good atmosphere, but man what people call barbecue these days is crazy, maybe it's for old people every meat I got was bland and you can tell its steamed not smoked, no different than first choice barbecue that went out of business .

When you can smell the food from the parking lot, you know it's good. It was very, very crowded and the wait time was too long but I have to say the bbq smell was intoxicating.

Our first time here. Annabelle was a fantastic attentive friendly server .. We were sat quickly and served quickly .. overall, it is very good.. We will be back

Super good BBQ!! Enjoy sitting outside when there's a breeze. Getting the correct % off for my husband's military discount is a bit of a challenge. It's different everytime, each server defends their position. But the food is always excellent.

As expected the Johnson's prepare Great food. Although weather was warm, it was too cold inside and music too Loud. Annabelle was kind and gracious, she suggested I enjoy outside.

I really hate to give this rating as the service and atmosphere was awesome . The southern menu items looked great and seemed to be prepared very well. The 3 star rating is because the food is a misrepresentation of southern food as it lacked flavor. They have all the right dishes , just desperately in need of flavor. If Johnson bbq made a few slight adjustments to the current menu items they would be a SOLID 5 star establishment. Again everything else was awesome , welcoming staff, great atmosphere, attentive servers. I am torn with this one but it's my honest opinion. I'm sure other southern folk would agree.

Mushroom appetizer was great, creamed corn was excellent but the BBQ pork was over Done.
