Ventured over to Johnny's for lunch or late breakfast. Very attractive restaurant and perfect for families.vparkinh is ample either metered on street or in the lot across the street. Had the penicillin with matzoh balls soup ( chicken soup) and a BLT. Soup broth needs to be developed as it was lacking flavor. The BLT was amazing - very generous portion of all components and quite tasty if excessively greasy. If feel the grease could have been blotted first prior to serving. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Restroom very clean.
I came here with my husband and the behaviors enacted upon us were reprehensible. Our server was very lascivious during the whole orderig process, and when my beloved Paul finally ordered his favorite beoccoli and cheddar soup the server STIRRED IT WITH HIS FINGER AND THEN LICKED IT SUGGESTIVELY!!!!!! David M you should be ashamed !!!!!!!!!!!!
Johnny’s is a blast to the past - not only does the retro decor take you back, but so too does the friendliness of the staff and reasonably-priced menu items. We arrived around noon on a Sunday, expecting a long wait, but only sat for around 15-20 minutes before being seated. The specials were to die for and I, admittedly, ordered way too much food because I wanted to try it all. The blueberry muffin was the best I’ve ever had in my life—incredibly light and fluffy, yet crunchy with a twinge of saltiness on the outside after being fried in butter. The side of bacon was heaping, thick-cut, and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were moist and delicious. The strawberry rhubarb pancakes were my favorite. I cannot wait to go back and try some of their lunch items!
2 of us at table of 4 ordered corned beef hash. When it arrived we both thought it tasted funny(bad) like maybe it was sitting out overnight. We told waitress and said we wanted to order something else. No one apologized or nothing was taken off the bill. The crunchy french toast was good but overpriced.
