Delicious food as I had red curry vegetables, garlic shrimp fried rice, and blended pineapple lemonade drink. Dietary restrictions: They observed and followed my restrictions for no cilantro nor mushrooms.
Had dine-in lunch with my family on a Sunday afternoon. Wonderful customer service and very laid-back atmosphere. The food and boba drinks were delicious. My favorites were the pineapple soda bomb with strawberry boba, rare beef pho, and crab rangoon. Kid-friendliness: Dined in with a 6-year old and 2-year old. No kids menu, but my picky 6-year old enjoyed the popcorn chicken and a strawberry freeze drink. My 2-year old loved the chicken fried rice and pho noodles.
Food is good but the drinks are why I keep coming back. Large variety of milk and boba teas.
Ok. So I'm comparing this restaurant with Broccoli and Saigon. 1st the Spring rolls which comes in chicken, shrimp, or tofu. They are big and long and are freshly made. I didnt taste any mint and the peanut sause was on the light side as far as texture goes. There were no fresh peanuts in it nor was there any Sriracha sause. I had also the Jo Jo Special beef pho soup. Not bad. Nice chunks of beef. Noodles were kind of stuck together(cause I ordered to go) but came a loose once I applied the broth. Comes with cilantro, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime. Noodles are rice noodles. It wasn't bad at all. Quite yummy. Now as far as the spring rolls, they're 95 cents more than Broccoli and Saigon. As far as Pho is concerned, they are cheaper than Broccoli(Schiller Park). They charge $14.95 compared to Broccoli's $18.00. This restaurant is fairly new and has a following. They also do smoothies here(I'll check out next time). They've got numerous options on their menu with many appetizers. This is a closer Vietnamese dine in to my house (7 min.) It's not bad. Now for the order in which they rank. Food and atmosphere is good. No doubt. But I still rank this in this order. 1. Broccoli 2. Jo Jo Asian Bistro 3. Saigon. Broccoli is a bit more pricey, but overall freshness and appearance is why Broccoli is still no.1 for me. Not taking anything away from Jo Jo's. I do recommend this establishment. I will be back there soon. They give fast service. Vegetarian options: Tofu in some dishes. Fried spring rolls have it also. You can chose a veggie or protein(meat) with some of these meals.
Friendly, clean, great staff, fast service ce, good parking
I love Joyee - wonderful Asian fusion on the south side. Service is food comes out quick, and service is very typical of the chain . Joy Yee always a good "go - to!
Usually love it, staff was very very rude tonight
Review of JoJo Bistro: My dining experience at JoJo Bistro was nothing short of delightful. The most striking aspect was the harmonious blend of excellent service and culinary expertise. Every dish served was a showcase of flavor and quality, satisfying not just my taste buds but also my expectations of what good food should be. The service at JoJo Bistro was commendably fast, ensuring that there was minimal waiting time. Despite the quick service, there was no compromise on the quality of the food or the attentiveness of the staff. The servers were not only efficient but also exceptionally kind, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. In summary, JoJo Bistro stands out for its delicious cuisine and the rapid yet friendly service. It's a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a dining experience that combines great food with a pleasant, customer-focused environment.
