Great sandwich

Ordered 6 giant subs today from the new location on River road. Normally would not take the time to offer a review on something like a deli sandwich but warning to anyone that plans on spending $100 plus on 6 sandwiches'. Jersey Mikes is a stand by for traditional Jersey style sub sandwich and usually hits the mark pretty well. This location how ever may need to go back to the franchise school and revisit the basics of making a sandwich. Each and every sandwich was sloppy, poorly constructed and poorly topped. Although the website request names for each sandwich, none were on any of the bags unlike other Jersey Mikes we have ordered in the past. Hopefully who ever is in charge above the store management takes a good hard look at your franchise, todays economy doesnt allow for people to waste there money.

TLDR: this specific store doesn’t honor what every other JM does. They were mopping floors at 8:30 when the place closed at 9 that day. Also said “they only had minis left”. Refused to honor the secret menu and said they couldn’t add extra meats onto a sandwich unless the said sandwich already comprised those meats. This was my 2nd experience at the newly opened store. 1st time was before this date, about a week ago, and the same "manager" was mopping the floors 30 minutes before close at 8:30. My wife and I did not think of this being any major issue and did not order and left. We came back may 8th around 7:30, and the same “manager” said we could not order EXTRA MEAT, unless it was a meat associated with the sub already. (My wife ordered the italian but was willing to pay extra to have roast beef and turkey added to the sub). The store rep claimed that it depended on the franchise owner and their own seperate rules.... meanwhile growing up with jersey mikes around where we both were from, central jersey, we knew she was making up lies, but we just ordered and paid for regular subs. This location was a great surprise for us living in hackensack given it being walking distance from us, but now this has been 2 straight terrible instances with this location. 10/10 would not recommend and suggest you go to a different jersey mike’s.
