Chinese made Korean food. Can’t compare to authentic Korean food.
No service whatsoever other than bringing food you ordered by scanning the QR code to your table! Not deserve any tips in my opinion because the waiter not even once comes to our table to ask if everything is okay! But don’t get me wrong, the food is delicious but bit on the pricey side! I may just order to-go next time because I don’t need no service at all. None anyway ~ Parking: Lots parking!
Jeonju Hostetter is the second location. The first / original location is in Milpitas. It's nice to have a Korean restaurant in this area. It's refreshing to find a Korean restaurant in North East SJ area, as they are not common. We came here on fairly late on a Thursday evening and were surprised to see this place almost at full capacity. They must be doing something right! #JeonjuEats ~ Seafood Tofu Soup in Stone Pot - 4.5/5 Brilliant Seafood Tofu Soup. Those freaking Stone Pots...your food will not cool down. Make sure you put some in your bowl and wait for a couple minutes before you dig in...or you can burn your tongue like me...lol. Tasty, delicate and very satisfying. I just wish the portions were bigger... #LifeOfAFatty ~ Iron Plate Seafood Pancake - 2/5 This was unfortunately a disappointment. I usually love Korean Seafood Pancakes. I read some other glowing reviews, unfortunately this was not our experience. We really wanted to like this. The Seafood Pancake was just too Oily and didn't have enough seafood in it. I'm hoping they were off on this one... No issues returning. the staff was friendly and service was fine. I'll try the Seafood Pancake again...hopefully next time I'll have a better experience.
Great bibimbap (and huge) served in stone bowl. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambience pretty nice, too.
This Korean restaurant is really good. We dined in and had the steamed egg, beef soondubu, and the rose rice cakes with ramen. The side dishes were surprisingly delicious, loved the pickled carrots and I’m not usually a big carrot person.
Best Korean restaurant I have ever tried here in Bay Area! Came twice in a row lately
Food was pretty good, though ambience was only okay. Beef tofu soup in stone pot - good Iron plate kimchi pancake - very crunchy and delicious Seafood stone pot bibibap Ambience I found the air to have a lot of oil vapors or something. I kept coughing from something in the air (wasn't sick, no allergies, only had an issue in the restaurant). I could smell things being fried from the kitchen even before our food arrived. It's a shame because the food was good, I would have enjoyed it more. Parking: Parking lot can get full on weekends
