Java Lounge

Java Lounge is a neat little place which seems to invite people who want drinks, baked goods, and a place to work or study. However, I will warn that it can be a bit noisy. Plus, they had these couches near the checkout counter that honestly for me at least weren't comfy. They did have these partitioned booths that were all occupied, so I hope to try one of those. I ordered a cinnamon scone, brownie, and black current tea with peach. The tea and scone were good, but at $4.50 for the brownie, it was not worth it. Partly cold, but also small for the price. Skip the brownie is my suggestion. Overall, it was expensive, so I'd probably stick to just the drink next time. Staff was friendly and overall I'd go back, but I'm not sure it's a place I'd visit often. But I'll recommend people give it a try over something like the big chain places.

I always notice that the parking lot at Java Lounge is full and the drive-through seems to be busy as well. My wife and I were curious about why the café is so popular. We decided to visit early on a cold Saturday morning before going shopping in Arlington. Java Lounge wasn’t crowded yet, so we had a chance to explore the café and take photos. Our first impression was that the interior design was inviting, comfortable, and upscale. The windows, lighting, and seating were all tasteful, giving the café a high-end feel. Despite being located next to FM 157, a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet. Although the crowd hadn't arrived yet, it was hard to imagine young people parking their laptops all day in such an elegant setting, especially since there were no universities or office complexes nearby. As for the coffee, it was excellent. I even took a photo of a board that displayed the employees' favorite coffees and teas. I ordered a chocolate croissant, which was good but not as great as everything else. My wife ordered a blueberry muffin, which was delicious. The service was wonderful. If it weren’t for our shopping schedule, we could have stayed longer in the elegant and relaxing café. This is a special place for me and my fiance. One of our first dates was here, and for several reasons, I decided to propose to her here. Told the owner, Kayla, about my plan, and she was delighted to be a part of it, accommodating my requests so well. She was extremely helpful and set aside the patio for us. When the day came, after I had proposed, Kayla brought out a complimentary "She said yes" cake for us. Helped make this such a special memory. So obviously, we LOVE this place! Java Lounge for life :)

Great spot for drinks and quick bites. CAREFUL: Dog park not for small dogs —there’s multiple spots under the fence they can get through. Learned the hard way. I hope they fix that at some point.

Great coffee and pastries, nice facility. Only downside is that so many of the indoor seats are occupied for hours by laptop campers.

cute shop! I got the Pandan Matcha Latte and it was delicious. I was very surprised at the unique selections they have here
