Wow! Wow! Wow! Jashaan was a perfect experience from start to finish. The place is beautifully decorated with modern interior, well spaced out, comfortable and a lovely ambience. Cleanliness 10/10. With so many delicious dishes to choose from it was no trouble for the waiter to talk us through everything and help us decide. The food was absolutely amazing, so fresh and tasty, high quality meat and generous portions. The staff where so kind and they made such a fuss of my daughter who is 6. We had a wonderful night and I would say hand on heart this is the best Indian around.
Visited at 1900 on a Saturday for a pre-booked sit down meal for 12 (two people dropped out due to covid). Made the reservation via Kukd, which was accepted pretty quickly by the restaurant at the begging of April. However, three days prior to the meal, I was contacted by the restaurant requesting a £10 deposit per person. Not a big issue, but would've been nice to be advised at the time of the booking that I'd have to pay a deposit. To the night of the meal. Wow! Place can easily accomodate a fair few people and parties at the same time. Orders for food and drinks were taken within 10-15 minutes of being seated. A large batch of poppadums and chutneys were served quickly. Everyone had a starter and seeing what people were getting as well as the presentation of some starters shows that the restaurant want to make things pop! Mains were next. This is where we unfortunately had a few hiccups with some of the people not getting their mains or rice, and had to wait quite a while for these to be brought, even though the staff were made aware that food orders were missing. It didn't help as the staff had to be reminded again, so some of the party were waiting at least 20 minutes for the dishes to be served, thus slightly dampening the night. Overall, the presentation and staff were great and efficient (apart from the one issue). Prices were average for an Indian restaurant and not overpriced. Everybody enjoyed their meals and concluded that they'd come back to this restaurant again. Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible ramp.
Wayne's Eats - Local Food Blogger for South Wales (Instagram/Facebook Review) Cardiff is absolutely stacked with so many Indian restaurants, some are great and some, well are not so great. Chicken Tikka Massala Chicken Korma ️ Review: We were treated to an absolute feast and there honestly was not a dish we did not like, there were of course a few dishes we liked more than others but genuinely everything tasted amazing As there was literally so much food I think it's best I tell you the highlights... Tikka Tacos - I never knew I needed these in my life but they were insane, super tasty! Loved these! Love the dynamite chilli chicken and the chicken chat was lovely too! In terms of our curries, the chicken cheese kofta was the one! Can't say I've ever tried a cheesy, meaty curry before but you know what it works! Also a really big fan of the Jaipuri, just the right level of spice. Absolutely delicious! Needless to say this place is an absolute must visit
We visited on Saturday and this place is truly exceptional. We have been to some exceptional Indians across Europe and both the wife and I agreed that this one was the best we've been too. The food was really exceptional, well presented and very very flavoursome. The staff were incredible. If you get a jug of water on the table they will recognise when your glass is running low and pour for you and get another jug of water if you're running low. They were all very helpful, attentive and friendly. It made for a very special meal. If you're in Cardiff city central and want an Indian, walk 25 mins to this special gem, it's definitely worth it. It does get busy though, so book in advance to avoid disappointment. Finally, thank you to all the staff and to the guy who recommended the Naga curry. I thought it would be too spicy and at half spice it was spot on. Extremely tasty too. We are from Mumbles and we will be making a special trip once a month to this lovely Indian restaurant.
Disgusting meal went in the bin never again
My boyfriend and I went to Jashaan's for Valentine's Day and had an amazing time. The food was extremely delicious and the service was one of the best I've ever experienced. The staff clearly care for the customers which really enhanced our experience. Would highly recommend for great dining.
This was the best Indian dining experience I have had in many many years , exceptional service , tremendous food and a great atmosphere. Thanks to everyone who was working last night. See you all soon
Unreal food and service. We decided to go for a hungover banquet on the Thursday and it did not disappoint. Sensational curry and great value for money. I would recommend for anyone looking for good quality and quantity of food. I will definitely be returning!
