Awesome food

Surmai thali is very very tasty 😋😋😋

I visited this place on a weekday and it was somewhat crowded. Tried the following 1) Surmai tawa fry thali with bhakri option 2) Prawns Masala thali with vade option 3) Bombil Sandwich 4) Crab lollipop 5) Caramel Custard Crab lollipop and Bombil Sandwich were good in terms of taste. The other food was very bland. Surmai tawa fry was soggy and bland. Similarly prawns masala was sweet for my liking. Even sol kadi was quite sweet.

I stopped by this conveniently located, gem of a restaurant on my way to Bandra Terminus. I had the bombil fry, luscious, deep sea fish, butterflied, and fried in a golden, crunchy, semolina crust. Delicately seasoned and crunchy on the outside, the fish was soft and juicy on the inside. I also had the prawns malwani masala, perfectly cooked, fresh prawns in a delicious, spicy gravy, with bhakhris, soft, flavorful flatbreads. All in all, a fantastic meal! The service was very good, very helpful, prompt and efficient. They were also very kind about my baggage. I will be back there before my next train trip!
