Jack Astor's Bar & Grill Dartmouth

Loved the fresh Mint Iced Tea!!! The Wonton Nachos were a Creative dish but much too Spicy. As was the Chicken on Foccoscia (could only eat half my Sammy cuz it was much too spicy ). The chipotle mayo Kills all the other Flavors. Got mine with Arugula which paired perfect with the Foccoscia. No Warning Icons on menu. The Truffle Fries & Truffle Steak topping were AMAZING. Steak was Horrible tho. Dry & Chewy.

Had originally reviewed this as a 4 but dropping to a 1 due to a presumptuous rude waitress. I don't appreciate being told since I was the "gentleman" with a lady at lunch that I should pay. It was a work lunch, the lady was my manager, and she is obligated to pay and expense it due to company policies. Maybe the laptops and notepads would have been an indication it wasn't a date?

I visited this restaurant with my niece and her son recently. This is the first time in years that my niece has eaten at a restaurant due to a deadly allergy to eggs. The waitress reassured her that she would discuss her concerns with the cook staff. The food and service was amazing! Thank you Jamie (Jam) for making a stressful experience so relaxing! Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids, servers were patient and professional.

Food was fantastic. Service a little off but they were busy and fixed the error quickly. However, probably never go back as the music playing was waaaay too loud. Couldn't hear the person beside you at your table or the wait staff. Not a relaxing atmosphere whatsoever. If I want my eardrums blown out I'll go to a club or do it at home. Lol

We had the BEST waitress that we ever had at any of the Jack Astor's. We eat their regularly. No waiter or waitress compares to Nana B. She was amazing. We will be back and will obviously ask to sit in her area. Great service and always smiling. See you soon Nana.

Many items on the menu and they all looked good coming out of the kitchen. We were happy with our choices Mushroom Truffle Cheeseburger and Fish & Chips. Large servings! Good waitstaff.
