I had high hopes after seeing the 4.7 star review, but I feel completely bamboozled. This place is way overpriced for very underwhelming food. I ordered a beef burrito and what was served to me was 90% (not exaggerating) beans rolled in a tortilla. My girlfriend ordered pork pupusa's and they were bland and didn't have an ounce of meat on them. Our pastor tacos were $4 a piece and dry. Nothing was worth the price at this restaurant. The owner/chef did come out to ask us how the food was and I felt awful telling him that it was just OK (although I wanted to say I wanted a refund). I love supporting local businesses, but this was a first and last for us unfortunately.
It’s super clean and super cute in here, not to mention the food was top notch, 10/10 will most definitely make this a regular stop ☺️
Wonderful Place! Great Kalxan Chicken and Ixcanul Burrito. We will be back. Owner/chef came around and chatted with us and others. It was nice to meet him and let him know how very much we enjoyed all the food he made for us.
Stopped for an early dinner on a Friday. Service was fantastic--hospitable and attentive. Our food was very good. But having eaten a lot of excellent Guatemalan food, this was a little different. I guess there are a variety of styles even in smaller countries. The dining room is festive with bright colors and attractive murals. It would be nice to feature some Guatemalan music. It seemed a little eerie listening only to compressors running.
