I was looking for good chicken wings in Wichita and found "It's Just Wings" through an internet search. I was surprised when I found out it's inside of the Chili's, but went in to order anyway. I put in the order with a girl at the desk at 4:25pm. I ordered sixteen wings, half lemon pepper, and half garlic parmesan. I was told the wait would be 20 to 25 minutes. Even though the receipt said pick up is 5:01pm. I show up again to get the wings at 4:55, and the wings looked soggy and were not hot. The sauce on the garlic parmesean is a red color and is SUPER oily and separated. The sauce was also extremely spicy(similar to habanero) despite the menu saying it's one of the least hot flavors. The lemon pepper flavor was as expected and good, but between the grease and the heat on the "garlic parmesean" were practically inedible. I mentioned to the staff that it's very hot and doesn't take like garlic or parmesean(just salty and hot). They person hardly made eye contact and shrugged it off as normal without looking at the box. I like hot wings, but this was definitely not a mild wing. I went home to eat them, and they were very chewy and stringy like they were dried out. I'm extremely disappointed as these were not cheap compared to other wings. ($22 for 16 bone in). I wish the staff would have done something more...
Good food. Friendly staff.
I didn’t know chilis had wings!!! They are big fat and juicy! I recommend the Santa Fe sauce!
The fries are great, but the wings are just ok. I had the Buffalo sauce and ranch. The sauce was just ok, and the ranch did not taste homemade. And I will judge a wing place based on their Ranch! Knowing that there are better wings elsewhere (and better ranch), I will probably not go again.
