The bread was soggy, the food was cold, the salad was a limp piece of lettice. The lasagna was served in a bowl it was like tomato soup with noodles. First & last time we will eat there !

My Wife and I have been going there since we moved to Utah in 1968 this is our go to restaurant for great food. We love the benders and such fresh salad. We brought our kids there for years and now are grandkids are going there and love it. Not only is the food fabulous but the service is top notch. We highly recommend this restaurant, you just can’t go wrong going to Italian Village. Absolutely the best in the SL valley. Terry and Donna

We are trying to find new places outside of Utah county to try. We were in the mood for Italian and this place had good reviews and been around along time. When we got there the place was packed which is usually a good sign right? The smells were that of an italian home cooked meal. The atmosphere was that of an old Italian place that maybe the mob used to whack someone in the kitchen back in the day. All was good until the food came and my wife started complaining that her stomach hurt. I got the Veal and Lasagna whick was very wattery in the dish. The bread was good flavor but was the consistensy of wonder bread. My stomach then began to hurt halfway in and decided that was enough for our expreince. There were so many people there having birthday party's and generally having a good time. Maybe we should have tried the pizza or calzones over the pasta. I really had high hopes for this place as I love old local joints. sometimes you find a diamond in the rough ,but his experience was just rough. Well atleast we can cross that off as a place we tried. Hopefully everyone else has a better meal than we did.
