My family is from NJ and I spent most of my adult life in NYC so we always look for pizza spots where the owners are from up north. I bellieve the first owners are from up north at this location, the recipe for the pizzas is super close to what you get uptop, Garlic knots are great, we normally get wings which are well done also, I am surprised at all the negative reviews here, but I pick up and order equally, never had a bad experience either way. Most quality pizza in closer to Atlanta or deep in it so Italian Pie in Snellville is perfect if you don't want to make that long trip for good pizza. We are loyal customers for sure.
I bought a large pizza two topping, paid for the food the man I paid ask if I wanted the receipt I said yes, he looked surprised that I actually wanted the receipt. looked at the receipt he charged me for something I didn't ask for. tried to rip me off. I will not be going back. if you do love this place you better get and check your receipt. they ripping people off. 2 Dollars at a time.
White sauce pizza is probably the best pizza I've had in years! No chain will bec able to produce pizza like this! This is definitely better than any other franchise.
Quick stop for a good pizza.
this restaurant take forever, the order is never ready on time , you have to wait a next 20mins or more
While I appreciate that the pizza is made fresh from decent ingredients. They are pricey and the wait time can be long depending on when you order from this location. I have ordered from the Scenic Hwy location and their pizza is fine. However I ordered from this location and the sauce tasted literally like it was basically tomato sauce/tomato paste out of a can or something with no seasoning or flavor to it. Stingy with the topping as well. We could've made this at home and saved a lot of money. If you pay $23 for 1 pizza, you expect it to taste good, not like an amateur made it. Crust has no flavor either. Parking: Plenty of parking in a free parking spot. Not a dine in restaurant. Carry out and delivery only.
Just wanted to share the worst experience I’ve ever had with food in our area. Tonight I ordered from the Italian Pie at Centerville. Let me say since the day they opened, my family has ordered from them SEVERAL times. Tonight is the last time I will EVER order from there. They recently changed management and it completely has gone down hill. I ordered a calzone and wings. We repeated the order 3 times bc the lady was talking on another phone at the same time. Husband goes to pick it up and gets in the car and notices the receipt says Angelos Pizza. Then says Stromboli ? What’s Stromboli? I didn’t know either, so he goes back in to let them know this was supposed to be a calzone. The rude lady working the front says NO NOO NO (yelling at my husband, who is the most non confrontational person around). I told him it’s fine I’ll try the Stromboli. He comes home and it is the tiniest thing I’ve seen. We usually split the calzone and still have left overs. I cut it in half and it’s raw. I mean completely raw dough.
Goodness I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered. There is bad pizza and then there is this. The sauce is virtually water, the chicken was microwaved or days old and there is no seasoning or flavor to the pizza at all. Save your money and have a bowl of cereal instead.
