I'm originally from Isfahan and the Beryani in this place wasn't anything like the original one, it was smelly and I couldn't eat. They also used a stale bread. The food was awfull.
The kebabs here are fantastic, so is the rice (although it was light on saffron this visit). I don't think you can find better kebabs in Cambrian and maybe not in SJ. I always take it to go - not much atmosphere.
Very consistent and delicious food. I have only tried the kubideh and chicken kabob dishes which are very tasty. The workers are very pleasant and nice to have a chat with.
Muy rica toda la comida muy limpio
Probably one of the best Persian Kabobs in the bay area with a reasonable price. Highly recommend their shish kabob combo!
Door dashed from Isfan the other night. Always great fresh food at an affordable price. Eat in is also a pleasant experience. Come for a no frills and authentic experience.
I had ordered food to go and when I received it,For three portions of food, a small amount of onions and herbs were delivered, all of which were wilted and old. The bread was delivered in very poor packaging and in an open bag. I am very dissatisfied with the packaging and hygiene
Isfahan is my go to place for Kebabs. My favorite is the chicken kubideh, which is well seasoned, grilled perfectly. They have a great choice offering of 1/2 salad, 1/2 rice with your protein. The salads are fresh and juicy. Service is quick for both dine-in and take out.
We went yesterday, and they gave us half of the portion of rice from the last time I went there (we had to ask for rice and were charged for it). They also did not offer us the onions and basil that they gave us the first time (we had to ask for that too). NOT GOING BACK.
Everything was just okay. Food could be more flavorful. Some meat dishes were dry. Could have much better atmosphere. For the price, not worth it in my opinion.
Hole in the wall halal koobideh shop.
Isfahan offers some of the juiciest beef koobidehs in the area and they taste even more awesome with their orange sauce (almost like Mexican fusion).
I have always enjoyed their beef koobideh and chicken kebabs. Their barg is a hit or miss, but usually on the softer side.
I also love how they contribute to the community also by offering meals to those in need.
Delicious kabob in an ordinary place with moderate service.
