Iron Bay Restaurant & Drinkery

Any restaurant that adds extra money and calls it labor cost Is untrustworthy at best. The restaurants game has always underpaid staff and now you want your customers to pay your employees wages maybe get better at the business world and have less employees standing around. I for one will never go to a business that does this. This is not how you do things.

Adding on a 4% labor fee because you outright refuse to pay your staff fairly seems like bad business sense. You 100% guaranteed I will never visit your so called establishment. I hope you enjoy irrelevance, you're doing your best to earn it.

Adding a 4% labor fee on on your check is dumb. Quit the tipping employees and just pay them. Tipping is getting way out of hand. I also don't tip based on bill percentage like they suggest. A tip is for going above and beyond your service. If my bill is hundreds and you suck!! You get nothing. Imagine paying people a wage AND letting the customers still tip if they so desire. So now I can't just go get a meal!! I have to be taxed!! I have to tip!! And now I have to pay a labor fee!! Quit milking us people.

Sorry I will not return. Food was good, not great, good. Service was a bit slow, while business wasn't busy. It's a cute enough place, I will not be back. I am not willing to pay more money because you are having trouble managing your money. Adding additional fees... come on! Only those afraid of what others may think will return.

Servers work 4 hours to afford a $20 salad here and that now comes with extra fees because... not enough profit.

Sounds like the restaurant needs a new GM or needs to close if they can't operate off a $20burger/$12 breakfast burrito and still need to charge you 4% more to pay their employees a "liveable slave wage". We all know Sysco doesn't charge that much... Probably Money Laundering, like multiple other businesses in the area. Or maybe the owner needs more properties to rent out to his employees at 4x the market rate.

Food was not up to my expectations.

We found the Fish tacos delicious. My wife said that she would like to go again. The featured drinks were tasty. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic cocktail and the misses had a tasty craft beer.
