Omg this place is the best. They offer a wide variety, the flavors are on point and watching the kitchen work in silence seamlessly was entertaining. The mango sticky rice ice cream was delicious, we had the chicken satay which was flavored perfectly, even the garnish was delicious. 5/5 would recommend. Update: ***** 1/16/24- had the chicken cashew lettuce wraps, miso braised salmon and chicken katsu curry-all delicious Update **3/10/24- walked in and no one greeted us, they kept walking by and making no eye contact. Usually someone should say "be with you in a minute" or something, but NO ONE acknowledged us for like 3 or 4 minutes, 2 servers & a bartender all had the chance- it was a bad omen. had the lettuce wraps again(delish) Teriyaki chicken (chicken was over cooked n a bit dry) BBQ korean kimchi bowl- the only thing that tasted korean in this dish was the kimchi, the beef was reminiscent of Panda's beef but SLATHERED in a very sweet sauce. It was waaaay too sweet. The only thing to cut the sweetness was kimchi and it wasn't enough. The "pickled cucumbers" were just regular cucumbers so they didn't have enough tang to cut sweetness. My suggestion would be to get rid of that sweet sauce (I could hardly eat my meal) and replace it with a bulgogi style beef that also isn't too sweet. This trip was a bit disappointing but we will be back.
My husband and I were visiting my brother and his wife for their wedding and decided to check the area for a good Asian spot. We were visiting from STL and our favorite STL Asian restaurant was also called Indo. We had to try. Of course this is not a chain, so we were curious how well the two compared. All I can say is wow. This place is ‼️ The flavors, ambiance, service, quality -- this will be a staple when we go back to visit for sure. Our recommendations would be the Vermicelli Noodle Bowl and Pork Belly Yakitori. Vegetarian options: Tofu, salad Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free
Amerasin is the plate set before the King

What a gem. My brother and sister-in-law live in Tacoma and suggested this restaurant. He ordered a series of apps and they were absolutely delicious. There was no need to go further ... we were sated. Garlic green beans, salt and pepper tofu, pork & shrimp shumai, pork belly yakitori and shrimp & chive dumplings. A hip spot to go along w/ tasty bits! We live in Seattle but the experience is worth the drive LOL
Hands down one of my favorite dining experiences in Tacoma! Food, service, atmosphere hit it out of the park every time. Dietary restrictions: Works with patrons with dietary restrictions with ease.
