Very nice experience, enjoyed

I order from this place a bit - in rotation with similar spots. However, tonight they gained a very loyal customer. I just spent 7 hours in the ER and ordered Indique to pick up on the way home. Unfortunately they gave me the wrong order (similar names) and I was pretty disappointed when I got home. I called to ask for a refund, but they bent over backwards to find me a driver and deliver my food. I appreciated this even more knowing I went through a third party delivery service, and they had every right to make me handle this through them. This also happened on NYE - definitely a busy day - but they made our whole night. Order was fresh and delicious as always. Their Tikka and naan are some of the best in DC!

This restaurant is nothing short of fantastic! My co-sponsor and I came upon this restaurant with our students during the National History Day contest in the summer of 2022. We are from Silver City, New Mexico and it was an opportunity for our students to experience authentic Indian food. They loved it and demanded that we come back again, which we did this last summer. The food is incredible. The Lamb Vindaloo and the Tandoori chicken were the favorites although we sampled a wide variety of the menu. The staff and service was out of this world. They went out of their way to take care of us and to answer any and all questions about the menu. Of note, we have a student who is gluten free and this was his favorite place to eat in DC. My co-sponsor and I have traveled extensively and can honestly say that this is the best Indian restaurant we’ve eaten at in the United States. We cannot wait to go back this summer!

We just went last night and wow I can’t believe what I was missing out on the food was amazing!
