Delicious food with just the right amount of spice. The service was amazing too!
I was in town for a function at the NY state fairgrounds. Pulled this up on Google for "best restaurants near me" and gave it a try. I was not disappointed. I had never been to an Indian eatery before and was feeling brave so I ordered the Fish Vindaloo along with one of their Indian Beers. I love spicy food so the Vindaloo was a hit. The beer hit the spot as well. Great place to checkout if you are in the Syracuse area!
My first visit to this Township 5 restaurant was an enjoyable one. I had for years frequented India House in Liverpool and its downtown predecessor, Taste of India. Unfortunately, Indian House recently closed their doors and we are now looking for another restaurant where we can enjoy our favorite Indian dishes. Although the food here is very good, two items fell short of my expectations, the poori bread and the pistachio kulfi ice cream. From the internet, it appears that the garlic naan is made on site and it receives positive reviews. Next time. As a nice touch, the restaurant provided a basket of papadum with three sauces. For an appetizer, my wife and I decided to split an order of aloo gobi masala. This, combined with our main courses of lamb tikka masala and lamb rogan josh comprised a very enjoyable meal, and we had leftovers to take home. The service was outstanding. We will return. UPDATE-1: On our second visit, I had the lamb tikka masala again, but this time I requested medium-hot masala sauce, and ordered it with garlic naan. An excellent meal. My wife tried something new. The special chicken cheese masala was outstanding. UPDATE-2: I ordered an appetizer of fried peppers. The menu warned that the dish was hot. What they really meant was that the dish was very, very, very hot. The peppers were enclosed by a delicious crunchy well-seasoned coating which initially covered the heat. However, by the time I finished one of the two peppers, I was experiencing a four-alarm fire. I immediately ordered a Kingfisher beer and had some of the naan bread we had ordered. Once the heat came under control, I added small bites of the coated peppers to my masala sauce as I ate my main dish. My wife ordered the chicken saag and shared some of it with me. We both loved it.
Good original Indian beer. Food was not too much tasty. Carry goat - 90 per cent just Knuckles, not meat. No any carry taste. Eggplant dish had not too much with eggplant. Not impressed at all. Will not come back.
I was picking up a delivery and ended up ordering food to take home. First time ever having it. Will def be back!!
My husband and I went to Indian Grill for the first, but definitely not the last, time tonight for dinner. The service was friendly and prompt and our meals were delicious! We had the chicken curry and chicken tikki Marsala. Our server suggested a vegetable fried appetizer that was excellent and the marinated red onions were an added bonus. Vegetarian options: Our daughter is a vegetarian and she would have many options here.
Best for service and flavor, just delicious and wonderful
