I am confused by negative reviews. Food is fresh and great, as well as staff/owners. Most often here for weekend buffet (ending at 2:30).
Don’t want to give any star, but no chance
They need to change the chefs, they don’t know how to cook Indian food, and they are giving spoiled food. If someone gets sick , that will be big lawsuit.
Wasting my money. I can cook better than the chef. Don’t go please
This is my favorite of all Indian restaurants, and I go to a lot of them. The food is above perfect and there is a spiritual calm over the whole place. The staff and service is just amazing. The prices are very reasonable. They have a vast array of beverages in coolers and ice cream. I stay at the Rodeway Inn near there largely because of this restaurant.
This is the best restaurant for delicious Indian food with many varieties. The ambiance is so good and you get personalised service and care for each customer, by the owner Mr. Illias Mohammad. Don't miss to enjoy a nice experience, when you visit Delaware PA.
I recently had a disappointing experience at this Indian restaurant. I ordered the goat biryani, which was promised to be ready in 25 minutes but took 50 minutes instead. The staff was unhelpful and frequently ignored me when I inquired about my order. When the biryani finally arrived, it was a letdown: it bore no resemblance to authentic biryani and was excessively oily. Overall, the service was poor and the food did not meet even basic expectations. I won’t be returning.
Coming from California I've had the most amazing Indian cuisines from all different regions of India. This is by far the worst Indian food and Buffet I've ever had. There was not much selection for the buffet. The food was bland and watered down. 17$ worth it? I pay 4$ at most.
Beautiful clean sit down restaurant excellent food, very traditional and taste servers very polite
Went there for a weekday lunch buffet. We were the only group there. That should have been a hint. Worst indian food ever. Absolutely no salt or spice in any of the dishes. The okra was not cooked and the used very old okras. They had chole batura in appetizers. The batura was so hard. Chole was plain dry , no gravy. Chicken seemed old. Again, no spice. We were not sure if roti or Naan was part of the buffet .. we had to keep wondering till someone finally asked if we'd like naan. Terrible waste of 18$
My Dad, Brother, and I came here on an evening in late May for some authentic indian cuisine. The dining area was very clean and the music was friendly. The server was very attentive and kind. I ordered the chana masala, my dad ordered chicken tikka, and my brother ordered chicken fingers. All delivered promptly, and all delicious! Only complaints are that my salad had a small piece of plastic in it and my spoon was a bit dirty. We enjoyed the spice level of the food and thought it was true to what we asked for. Would come again for the lunch buffet!
Had the buffet. What a waste of money. Everything seemed like they just kept leftovers out. The only item that was ok was the Pakoda. Curries tasted of turmeric powder, maybe the spices weren’t sautéed well or they put too much. Fish was old, Biriyani , fruit salad and kheer was trashy
