Il Gusto d'Italia bamber

A little hidden gem in Bamber Bridge typical Italian/Sicilian fayre with authentic flavours, huge menu with many dishes available on special boards. Vegetarian options: Ask the chef he will accommodate any vegetarian demands.

This was in the Bamber Bridge restaurant last week. I ordered the salmon which came with pasta, rice or chips priced £16.95 I asked if I could have it with salad instead of pasta, rice or chips but was told this wasn’t possible and I would have to order salad as an extra side dish at £3.95 Since a side of chips was the same price I don’t understand why I couldn’t just swap one for the other! I decided not to pay an extra £3.95 and received a piece of salmon on my plate for £16.95 which, although quite tasty, was not worth that amount. This affected my enjoyment of the evening but I didn’t want to make a fuss and ruin the evening for the rest of my friends. However, I won’t be returning and nor will they.

Brilliant as always. The food was scrumptious and the service was brilliant. My best Italian restaurant in the Preston area. Vegetarian options: I'm a Pescatarian. I had the fresh Calamari and the Lobster Ravioli. Absolutely delicious
