It's been years since we've eaten at this place that once had bright colorful images on the walls of Italy now faded to blue. I ordered a soda which came in a tall ice filled plastic tumbler like you used to get at pizza hut. After sucking down about an inch of soda, my husband pointed out that there was a butter wrapper clinging to the inside of my glass for dear life. So I let the waitress know. She genuinely seemed shocked and offered me a fresh glass of soda. We could hear her telling someone that she never even gave us butter with our bread. When she brought my fresh glass she then went into an explanation of how it might have happened to which I said "I'm not worried about the butter wrapper. It's been through the dishwasher and most likely been sanitized" So when I got dessert, the cannolis were not filled in the middle - just the ends - and Curtis Stone once said "If you just fill the ends, you're cheating your customer." I do have to admit that was our first time there in about 5 years and it's crazy to expect the level to be the same as it was before the pandemic but I'd settle for at least 60% as good as it had been. We got about 40%.
The food was excellent! The pies are delicious, for the really hungry people I recommend the large regular pie before trying the toppings to savor the taste. I also recommend for the appetizer the Arancini (rice balls) very delicious.
Family oriented restaurant with excellent service & amazing Italian cuisine. I will definitely go back.
Pizza could have been warm. They added pepperoni, but they didn't stick to the cheese
It's horrible how much salt is added to each dinner. I'm shocked I didn't have Congested Heart Disease later that evening. The sauces of our dishes were weak in flavor as well. Never going back.
Fantastici! Calamari was nice and crispy. Even the pizza wasn’t too bad. Dietary restrictions: Always get your calamari extra crispy
Food is amazing, great variety. Highly recommend their rose/cream sauce and handmade pastas. Service is attentive. They were able to easily adapt to GF/low carb, etc. Multiple GF options including pizza and pasta option. We love coming for casual lunches and dinners.
Great traditional Italian place with friendly service and large portions. As vegetarians, we appreciate being able to select the pasta and sauce we want with it. We love the good bread and oil that comes with our dinners. BYOB is a big plus too. Vegetarian options: A variety of pastas and sauces on a “make your own” type list.
The Toscana Foccacia is fantastic. Paired with a Ceasar salad makes a great lunch, complete with leftovers for dinner
Audrey was our waitress tonight and she was absolutely amazing. She was super attentive and greeted us with a smile every time she came over (even though I ran her to the kitchen multiple times, sorry!) We were out celebrating my cousins birthday and she made it that much better! Thank you Audrey!
