Usually have such a great time here. Not this time. Will try again in a few months.
I thought I'd be spending 40 but it was 60. For barely any food.
These guys messed up my order pretty bad. Regardless of this however, I would happily order from here again and visit when the inclination strikes me.
To error is human. In the service industry a lot is demanded of the employees. They are under an immense amount of pressure and always held to incredibly high standards.
Mathew is the name of the manager here and they are fantastic. They took accountability when I called to report the error and ask for a refund. When I misunderstood something, they gave me time to feel my emotions and let me finish talking and then corrected the misunderstanding. They understood my disappointment and frustration and didn't do A SINGLE THING to make me feel guilty about my emotions and struggle. ((Being hangry and sick, getting a late delivery, missing items and poor quality can make a person pretty grumpy))
Mathew explained why they were having a hard time, provided assurances and detailed steps they were gonna take to avoid a similar issue in the future, and took 100% accountability for the issues. They were unable to provide me a refund at the moment, as i had ordered through Door Dash. But I did get my refund after calling Door Dash.
More importantly though, I felt valued and heard as a customer from the folks at iHop and even though they couldn't provide an immediate fix, they handled the conversation perfectly and kept a customer secured.
So I thought I should take time to give them props. Because I am not an easy customer, especially when I've been wronged and am upset. The food is 99.9% of the time completely on point and super fulfilling. The customer service is top notch at the moment. Turnover is high in this industry so I cant promise the same people will be there as when i wrote this, but you owe it to yourself to check em out.
Need more handicapped parking
i liked the relaxed atmosphere on a mid morning week day. gets packed on weekends.
Good place for a meal. Food is good and generous portions. Place is kept very clean. Saw 2 guys cleaning tables, seats and baby chairs.
We went at a very busy time but had no problems getting a seat nor was service interrupted at all. My omelette was yummy!
I ate here for breakfast and had a good experience overall.
Great value, good service and good food.
Walked in to the new hawks prairie location and immediately greeted by a crowed, which was expected since it’s the breakfast hour. A gentleman was visibly upset he’d been waiting for someone to take his order for sometime. Waited approximately 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge the presence of people at the front, and when finally greeted I said we needed a table of three. The hostess then asked everyone in the crowd who was next, even though I said I was. She had to wait for the crowd to confirm that indeed my family was next.
When finally seated it took approximately 15 minutes for someone to come over and ask if anyone had taken our drink order. She finally did once she realized no one had come to us yet.
There were probably 5-6 tables that had old food on them still, the table next to us had spilled soda dripping on the floor. When our drinks came, our coffee mugs had someone else lipstick all over them.
My service was the way it should be, polite friendly server and host, my food came quickly and hot. The server was very professional and helpful. All in all a good experience.
Food was fair at best I didn't like pancakes so I asked if I could get a waffle instead of 3 pancakes I was told it would be a 4 dollar extra charge for 1 waffle other IHOP'S have no problems doing it I don't know why this one does !!!!
Quiet, nice atmosphere. Great Service and awesome food.
The staff was very friendly. I am always in love with the food provided at Ihop. We stopped there for breakfast in route to Cannon beach from Seattle downtown. We tried spinach and mushroom omelette with bacon on sides and iced tea.
