I've been here several times in the past and while a bit expensive it's right across from the beach and the grouper sandwich is good. Tried to go this week and despite the restaurant being practically empty they weren't seating customers. Customers with disabilities, like my party were told we would have to wait. I asked what the issue was and apparently they had a very large party upstairs and only one chef. Understood but why couldn't customers, especially elderly ones, be taken to a table and at least order a drink, sit down, relax with their friends? We left.
Upstairs had no food and no elevator. I go for the view. Not the good, which is ok bar food.
The highlights of our meal were our server, Elizabeth, was awesome and certainly went above and beyond to make the dinner special memory for our boys. She was able to give them a complementary sand bucket, and an extra slice of Keylime pie that was slightly damaged from someone else’s order. we also really enjoyed the fresh scallops. My only point of feedback would be that their seafood platter was overpriced by 20%. It was fun to try the crabcake and the fresh grouper, but the price point was higher than we were expecting. Kid-friendliness: Elizabeth was awesome with our kids. Give her a raise or an award in her great way of interacting with kids!
Went in for a quick bite. Hostess was very unhappy and rude. But Justin (our server) was very up beat, polite and had great suggestions. We even ordered more after our first course! Delish! Thanks Justin!!
The food was great! Justin, our server was top notch! The margaritas were the best I've ever had!
