Genuinely one of the best pies I've had! Great authentic setting with good people serving great food. 10/10

I tragically dropped my pie getting out of the car but 3 second rule and all, still warmed it up a bit in the oven when I got back to our air bnb …and gotta say DAAAAYUM! Proper. Actual. Seasoned. Beef in their beef and ale pie. As the record shop nearby said, “Never mind the Brontes” chow down at Hunters!

Wow and wow! For years I've walked past this little bakery- but today was different I spotted a gf sign and was through the door in seconds. We came away with a steak, black pudding and peppercorn sauce pie, a steak and sweet chilli pie, apple pie and apple and bramble pie - all gluten free. They were absolutely delicious. We can't wait to go back to dine in and try the afternoon tea Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, coeliac friendly

Defo a the best Meat & Potato I’ve ever had! Pack full with meat all fresh, tender and so delicious! Would Highly recommend! ❤️

Visited here last weekend. Possibly the best pie I’ve ever had.

Absolutely amazing pies!

Ordered the 3 cheese pie. It was nice but there was no cheese in it, just potato and onion. When I told the lady she said, "So you want more cheese?" Well, some cheese would be nice in a cheese pie! The other things we ordered were lovely.

We came across this lovely quaint cafe last week. I had the steak and Stilton pie and husband had the steak and ale, both were excellent. Wish I’d had room for the lovely cakes on offer. The food and beverages are really good quality and great value.

great food. if you order at least the day before you can have a gluten free pie (both for intolerance and celiac disease). Great taste, filling, worth it. there is a nice bench outside where to have the pie. totally recommended, thank you Nick!
