Glorified Cafeteria | Recently ate dinner here w/family. Wouldn't recommend. Though the fried calamari + sweet potato gnocchi were serviceable, the duck needed a flavor infusion + the supposed NY steak was bland/no more tender than chuck. The real rub here is the fact that the dining area is a noisy cafeteria-like steup that blends right into the bar and spills over into the lobby's tacky overflow seating. At least there's a fireplace. Charging big prices for some brazen mediocrity.
Great food! Cozy place. Good service! Our waiter Susan was very nice!
First time visit. Met with a business peer for a late breakfast. I had the steak omelet. Oh my! Quite good. And the hash browns. Didn't need any condiments. Jacob was our server. He rolled with my jokes and was an excellent server. Overall, it was just a wonderful experience. If you are in the Vancouver area. Do go check out Hudsons. Go see Jacob tell him I sent you. This restaurant is inside the heathman Lodge. Enjoy!
My family and I reserved the mezzanine on the second floor for my mom's birthday. It turned out amazing, and the customer service was top knotch, from the planning stages clear through to the end of the party. Wheelchair accessibility: They have an elevator that was right next to where we had our party.
We had a fantastic breakfast here. The biscuits and gravy is delicious, tasty gravy and light fluffy biscuits. Scrambled eggs were also light and fluffy. The wife loved her French toast and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Great service and a really nice atmosphere. We went back for the thanksgiving buffet. I would suggest that you don't. Horrible service with an automatic 20% service charge. And they offered nothing in terms of compensation. Just a weak apology after a month of silence.
