Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing atmosphere! Love this restaurant so much and am always excited to go back. The appetizers are incredible too
fire chicken tikka masala and garlic naan
I came here to try the cuisine while I was out. I ordered a couple of appetizers to try. They were amazing and came out hot and quick. The accompanied sauces really elevated the flavor profile for me and were delicious. The staff were courteous and welcoming. The young woman who's name was Ariel had a large smile and a great presentation. I will definitely try to come back again.
The food was great but could’ve maybe had a bit more spice/flavor. It’s a pretty chill spot but the lighting was a little too low for my personal preference. Staff was lovely and definitely a fun experience overall. Will come back! :)
I've always wanted to try authentic Indian and I'm very happy to say that this restaurant does not disappoint. I was greeted immediately by the owner who was very welcoming and kind. I was immediately seated, recommended a drink and then i grabbed a plate to check out the buffet. The all you can buffet gives you a chance to sample the many and delicious offerings. The Naan bread was fresh and hot, the butter chicken was everything I hoped it would be, very flavorful, tender and moist. I think I think I also tried a lamb curry, which was superb. Perfectly tender lamb with a nice kick of spice but nothing overpowering which was nice. I'm happy that I happened upon this location and will return again soon.
Good food, great atmosphere.
Food was great. Service was fast and the servers were very nice. Good vegan options.
House of Naan Indian Kitchen and Bar in New Haven exceeded all expectations during our visit. The staff's warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home, and despite it being a bustling Friday evening, we effortlessly secured a table for eight without a reservation—a rarity in itself. The culinary journey began with their renowned Chilli Chicken and Chicken 65 dishes, both of which were absolute winners. The spice levels were perfectly calibrated, offering a delightful kick that complemented Connecticut's cloudy weather splendidly. Each bite was a burst of flavor, leaving us craving more. However, the true star of the meal was their naan. Soft, fluffy, and impeccably baked, it easily ranks among the best naans I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. It served as the perfect accompaniment to our meal, enhancing every dish with its delectable texture and flavor. Not to be outdone, their Korma dish was another standout. Rich, creamy, and beautifully spiced, it provided a comforting and satisfying contrast to the bolder flavors of the starters. Parking in New Haven can be a challenge, we were pleasantly surprised to find a spot just a short two-minute walk away from the restaurant. Overall, our experience at House of Naan Indian Kitchen and Bar was nothing short of exceptional, and it's undoubtedly a culinary gem worth revisiting
