Hotel La Palma de Llanes

Non-functioning aircon, the main reason I booked this hotel so I am not very pleased. This issue was raised on the day of arrival and the gentleman at the desk attempted to fix this with no luck, it seemed broken to him. Unfortunately as this was a ground floor room next to the (thankfully) empty pool it was not feasible to leave the windows open as it would require having the blinds fully open. The best I could get was a slight crack, without this the room would warm up to 25°C according to the AC thermometer. Couldn't even use the fan function in the unit! Unbearable for me as I am not used to sleeping in such heat especially with such stagnant air. At check out I raised this issue again as it was such a subpar experience but was told by the lady that AC is turned off until the summer. I've never heard of such an excuse nor have I experienced this once on my trip at other hotels all at lower rates and stars. No offer of compensation or discount was made so this may be normal for the property. I cannot recommend such a hotel that allows for such a policy if there is truth in the claim especially for being four stars. Room was clean so I have given an extra star for the housekeeping.

The room was large with twin beds as requested and a spacious en-suite bathroom. All was very clean, well decorated and hygienic.|The towels and linen were of good quality and clean white.|The housekeeping was efficient and thorough.|The reception was welcoming and friendly and the public areas were comfortable and spotless.|We cannot comment on the restaurant or food as we had our meals whilst out in the town. There is a cafe/bar on site serving drinks and snacks|The town was a little too far to walk easily and parking was quite difficult in the centre. Parking could be found a 10 minute walk from the harbour. There was good parking available at the hotel. |Our room was on the front of the building which meant that there was some noise from the car park and road, but this was not a great problem.

Es la segunda vez que lo visito. La limpieza, atención e instalaciones bastante bien. Me decepciono que para un hotel de 4 estrellas, y teniendo una habitación tan grande (la 220) el baño fuese tan pequeño. La mampara de la ducha- bañera es muy pequeña y el agua se sale por fuera. Espero que sea una crítica constructiva. En general el hotel está muy bien.

Habitación muy espaciosa con una cama muy cómoda y almohadas adecuadas. Lo que menos me gustó fue la ubicación ya que está a las afueras del pueblo y el desayuno, muy baja calidad de los productos para un hotel de estas características

Error en la categoría del hotel.estube en pensiones con cero estrellas,muy superiores a este hotel,y qué decir del personal????,no están a la altura para trabajar en hostelería.Un desastre.por supuesto no volveré a este "hotel "

Las habitaciones muy bien.pero el servicio......un horror,teníamos la cena contratada..... servicio lento,comida llegó fría,no tenían provisión de comida......el servicio de personal horrible

Holaa holaa sientoo mucho tener q manifestar mi queja por el trato recibido en la cena del día 11 de este mes a 65 personas q ibamos de excursión. Estaba pagado todo y allí todo eran problemas con la gobernanta q no quería servir lo pactado. Y para mayor desgracia no llegaban las raciones. Además apareció una uña en un postre común q nos afectó a todos. Tenemos ido a cientos de restaurantes y nunca nos paso tan maltrato y desatencion como esa nochee.
