HopMonk Tavern Novato

Terrible experience all the way around. The service was next to none. The food was awful (I got a $19 delicata squash salad that was the ends of a squash and was totally inedible) - we had to wait to order, we had to wait for our food, no one came to check in, and we had to wait to pay after our check. All around a waste of time and money. We will not be back.

Bartender was snarky. No domestic beer. What kind of place doesn’t serve domestic beer?

Great outdoor venue with amazing acts, good food and drink.

Forgot to take pictures and a bit overdue but wanted to give credit where credit is due. We don't eat out often but saw this place while driving up the 101. A typical type of beer garden setting and some yummy food. We had the grilled romaine + salmon and the 4 fish tacos with a side of sweet potatoe fries. Delicious food overall, great ambiance but we really wanted to say that our server Haeley was amazing! We are pretty friendly people but Haeley topped us on the friendly scale. SO FRIENDLY, she was so on top of our order and she continually checked in on us and made sure we were happy and satified. 5 STARS in service for sure and the only place we would deviate for off our route in Marin for food as long as Haeley is our server. Thank you Haeley!

better than normal food, service and atmosphere, but it is still a brew pub in a mail parking area, so there is only so much excitement about HopMonk as a destination.

Nice Just Nice Still like SEBASTOPOL location better, but wanted to see what Novato has to offer! May come back, nice shopping center location!!! Maybe Black Friday
