Hook and Lime

Good spot with a great atmosphere, fantastic service but average food. We had 9 adults and 3 small children and they were quick to get the food out and always around for more drinks and to clear the table. I had the 3 taco special and the rice and beans were the best part of the plate, the tacos lacked any distinct flavor. Their service will definitely have me coming back to try them again the next time we’re in town. Dietary restrictions: We had a few in our party with restrictions and they were extremely accommodating. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. They have high chairs, a kid’s menu and plastic cups with tops and straws.

Fun Fun Fun place. Food was great, I had Tuna Tacos ( even ordered an extra one) and brisket tacos. Easy, light and just delicious food. The rice was a bit dry, but who cares? The story is the tacos! Great service, (bar service) awesome staff, and really fast service. I had Pineapple Margaritas, was good! If you are downtown, try it. Oh yeah - it was also a walking distance from my hotel. Couldn’t ask better than that!

Excellent craft agave-spirit cocktails. Loved the friendly, attentive service. Delicious fish tostadas and shrimp tacos. Unfortunately, the Mexican rice and beans were surprisingly flavorless and unsalted. These are 2 items that are an exemplifying staple of authenticity and home-cooking; they are delicious accompaniments when made with care but also very easy to make flavorless.

Finally got to visit hook & lime. If you love great food and staff this should be your next place to try in downtown Omaha. 2 days in a row and everything surpassed any expectation. The place is so cute also!

Very good margaritas, and rice bowl was tasty. Extremely happy this place was open on Easter Sunday. Friendly staff as well.

Get here if you are in the area long term or short term. Great food, open atmosphere, creative drinks (lemon lavender marg- trust me). Good price, nice folks. I will be back.

Great Margaritas!!!! Love the variety of drinks The shrimp and fish cod tacos were good!!! The vegan sweet potato taco was also good!! Will def come back!!!
