Honey + Harvey - Melton

Love everything they are there to offer. The Butterworth & son coffee, the brunches , the friendly service, the ambiance and I particularly admire the fact that they use mostly local ingredients and independent suppliers, Honey + Harvey becomes my favourite weekly cafe. Vegan breakfast is always lovely, though I have to pay £2.50 extra for the avocado now. The weekly special salad is beautiful, surprising and happy to pay £10+ for a bowl of satisfaction. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian bagels & baps, salad, soup, vegan breakfast and pastries.

Excellent staff, great service, good selection of food, good location, and nice decor and facilities. Vegetarian options: Good selection Wheelchair accessibility: Great wheelchair acces, wide door and open plan layout.

We regularly stop here from our journey from Sussex and soon this cafe will be our local. Love the food and coffee, and space, with a good no. Of highchairs available, however the blaring music takes away from what could be a more chilled atmosphere.

We needed a coffee and snack before our long walk. The Honey and Harvey was perfect, I had the best cheese scone I’ve ever eaten, with chilli jam and butter. My husband loved his sausage roll, the pastry was crisp and not at all greasy. Our coffees were OK, I do prefer a stronger blend of coffee and my mocha needed more chocolate. The service was really friendly and efficient.

I have been to Honey and Harvey twice recently first time me and my friend had a vegetarian sausage roll which was the most disgusting thing I’ve had in a very long time. It tasted like dog food and made us both feel sick. Then this morning I thought I’d just pop in to get a nice coffee to take on a dog walk before work. An oat milk Americana cost £4.15 I had to wait 10 minutes for it so reduced my dog walking time. I think it’s a nice place to go if you have all day to spare. Also I have had an amazing salad in the Woodbridge one previously. But right now I am no fan of this place.
