Busy busy but really lovely. Best place to go after hiking
The donuts are delicious, you have to try them if you are in Vancouver.
Honey’s Doughnuts is probably the most famous eating joint in Deep Cove. The specialty here is obvious but they also have decent sandwiches. In addition to their flagship honey donut, you can also find maple and chocolate flavors at Honey’s. The honey variety is possibly the best donut I’ve ever had. A word of warning: despite the laidback Deep Cove location, there are long lines and rapid-fire service at Honey’s, leading to a rather stressful experience. But take a deep breath as it’s all worth it once you have the holy grail of donuts in your hand.
Wonderful doughnuts great service. Stop in when down in Deep Cove. Get here early and beat the rush
The Maple donut was my favorite. I found the Honey okay while the Cinnamon Sugar seemed extra greasy. All their fresh baked donuts are cake donuts. Overall I found the food slightly disappointing.
I had a similar experience to other reviews in terms of rude staff. The older lady who took my order made me repeat what I wanted because it was “not in the right order” she wanted. Another person was already trying to clean the table we were using before we were done with our meal. It all feels very rushed and while I can empathize as someone who has worked in the food industry, being busy is no excuse for having a bad personality. The donuts are very oily and dense — it was hard to finish one.
Delicious, and the service here is spot on. Recommended
With the Deep Cove hike comes the doughnuts afterwards as a sweet treat. They're a little pricey but they are so worth it, they have 7 different doughnut options but as the closing time approaches they are limited to the choices. They taste great, the atmosphere is great and the service is quick. The only complaint i would have is how popular they are because they are always busy and there is always a line. Overall would definitely recommend coming here and trying the best ever doughnuts.
