Best Cheesesteaks around!

The Steak Out in York, PA offers a decent cheesesteak experience, but falls short of standing out among its competitors. While the cheesesteak is pretty good, there are some things that work against them for the overall appeal. One disappointing aspect is the absence of Cooper Sharp cheese, a beloved choice for many cheesesteak enthusiasts, which may leave some patrons (like myself) upset. Additionally, the lack of a seeded roll option diminishes the experience for those who prefer the added texture and flavor they provide. Another notable aspect is the of the onions being a large dice. They were cooked well enough that it didn’t have a major effect on the overall flavor and bite of the sandwich, but a smaller dice keeps that from being an issue right from the start. Overall, while Steakout provides a satisfactory cheesesteak option, it misses the mark on several key elements for my own personal preferences, especially for a place calling themselves “home of the real Philly”. I wouldn’t say this was a bad experience, but I also don’t see an instance where I’d be going back for another.

Me and my sister went there and the food was really good very well seasoned. We got the turf fries and cheese steak amazing 10/10. The fires were good to but they could have put a couple more shrimp on them but other then that the sauce they used was very good. Also the red velvet cake was delicious very moist and flavorful. Definitely will be going back soon .

Chessesteak was good but i was still hungrey afterwards,yall use to pack the subs that it was falling off,now yall cut back on it,use to not be able to finish the whole thing,use to be my go to for cheesesteak,search continues i suppose lol

My recent order of 1 cheesesteak and 1 chicken wings was amazing. The only thing I wish they would do is to offer small fries,a single order of fries seems to be a bit too much. All in all, this is our go-to spot when we're stuck on what to make for dinner. Keep up the fantastic job.

We have always gone here for their amazing cheesesteaks and garlic butter seafood fries. Can’t find anything like it anywhere else. We recently tried their smash burgers after seeing another review and they are amazing! Nice crispy edges, 2 super juicy burger patties. The buns are fantastic! I like their mozzarella sticks too, just wish they’d give you more sauce

We got the cheesesteaks, fries, and mozzarella sticks and finished with a slice of chocolate peanut butter cake. That might be the best piece of cake I’ve ever eaten in my entire life! Everything was SO good and the customer service is unmatched!
