This is the second Valentine’s Day cake my partner has ordered from Hilda, and she blew me out of the water this year! Her work is always gorgeous, and she is so accommodating to our customization requests. This cake was so magical and made me feel like a princess in wonderland! It was the most beautiful and yummy custom cake ever!!! All my guests were amazed to find out that was my cake; especially after trying out the dulce de leche inside of it with all the delicious chocolate covering the cake instead of the usual fondant. My daughter surprised me with an almond marquise or like we called “Marquesa de Almendras”. This was for my birthday. I haven’t eaten one since 2017 when I left Venezuela. It was delicious! But delicious is not enough to describe it. It took me back to those marquesas de almendra from the le bon vi vant in la encrucijada, Cagua Aragua. Eat this cold, from the refrigerator with coffee. It would bring you back to life. Ahhh and it taste better the next day. Thank you Hilda!

Hilda made a cake for my dear friends wedding this last weekend. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous but honestly the best tasting cake I have ever tasted in my life!! I can't wait to try more of her baking and treats!!!

I was dreaming to have Venezuelan desserts near by and I am so happy I found holy sins. It is like having a little piece of home here. We tried golfeados and milhojas and they were DELICIOUS!!!! I can’t wait to try more
