Nice Bartenders got Zios pizza delivered
Good vintage lounge vibes.
Great bar with great staff!
This place does not appreciate a night cap to finish a night. Second time coming into the place 12:30am, granted later but at the same time hence; nightcap. First time.....I get it. It's late- wanna go home. Second time, blatantly obvious that our service wasn't welcome to the point where the 'bar back' complained to another customer about how we're coming from another establishment, American legion #1 post on VETERANS'S DAY of all days. Moaning about just because bars are open til 2am, they don't have to be and they WILL be closing at 1:30. Ordered a water and a white claw. Bar guy complained so much didn't ask for payment and just cried to fellow regulars about how we show up for a last call sort of nightcap. Only reason a one star (instead of a 0 star) is because we didn't get charged for the white claw. However, would've paid for it but he was complaining SO much that I took maybe 5 sips and realized how much we weren't wanted there. The principal of it all is this guy's reaction to 4 people coming in for a nightcap and and directly said to us he'd "happily serve us if we were there all night until 2:00 but we clearly came from someplace else and was bitching. We just got up and left without hesitation.
left a different review a few months earlier abt a specific bartender but changed my mind about her, honestly all of them are nice and with Rachel specifically there was just miscommunication when i was first served by her which left me with a negative opinion. she's pretty nice tho, and i've never had any other actual issue at this bar!! highly recommend for the cozy seats, good vibes and perfectly mixed drinks, these guys all work very hard and are great at what they do! all i would recommend (if it's even necessary) are sobriety friendly non-alcoholic drinks and practices (to help assure anyone who just wants to stop in & have fun with friends, but not feel pressured to drink, esp if it's unhealthy for them to do so) Kid-friendliness: stopping in during the day time, specifically while college football is on, they seem very kid friendly! like the kiddos can spin around in the fancy lounge chairs or hangout while one of the parents has maybe a beer or two, ofc i would not recommend bringing them by in the late afternoon or at night, but in the early afternoon when nothings really going on is a great time to just stop in and watch whatever game is on with them.
Nice throwback intimate setting with traditional beer and cocktails
