I have stayed here for around one month. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Room service facilities are amazing.
What a really friendly and helpful team of staff. Everyone working here exhibited a first rate attitude. The hotel itself is clean and as you’d expect. Breakfast is very good - apart from the weak coffee - and if you’re coming for the football you couldn’t be better located. It’s a 20 minute stroll along the riverside to the Cathedral. All in all we had a very good stay, which was made special by the excellent staff.
When I first tried to check in, the staff had an argument about whose turn it was to be on the desk for a while, which was not the best welcome. The person who came to the desk was friendly. During our stay, my partner and I both slipped while getting out of the shower because it is poorly designed. I injured myself and was left with significant and painful bruising. When raising this with the hotel, I got an initial response saying "apologies for the inconvenience". When I responded that it was much more than an inconvenience, I was ignored. I have tried chasing several times but got absolutely nothing back. Given how much they put the price up, we expected considerably better service. Safety: The curved design of the bath makes getting out dangerous. It's very easy to slip and there is nothing to hold onto.
Wass in a great location. Rooms are mediocre. The breakfast was OK. I've had a lot worse, but probably won't be going back because I've had better for cheaper Rooms: Mediocre, but some have a great view of Carrow Road pitch
Hotel is under refurbishment, needed upgrading. Friendly and helpfull staff, ok breakfast Rooms: Needs a large upgrade, pretty worn out. TV/ entertainment solution old
