Very clean, comfy beds, great breakfast and very friendly staff
Great breakfast service from Paula . She was friendly and very helpful. Fab hostess. The guy in the bar was also great
Really enjoyed my stay here
I stayed on the 15th floor, beautiful view, very quiet and beds are comfortable
Great place very friendly
The first room was a little tired and dated, with bedside cabinets that did not shut properly but the beds were comfortable and the view not bad! However, there was an awful high-pitched buzz that went on for hours and stopped us sleeping. The next day I raised this problem at the desk, and they seemed to know the cause (it seemed to come from the cupboard in the corridor) and eventually agreed to move us to the floor below - there was no more issue once the move was made. However, it had impacted our sleep on the first night and left us both tired the next day, which was my special milestone birthday event!!!! The second room was in much better repair and felt cleaner and newer. I think I would consider staying again, but I would refuse to stay in the room offered on the first night! The hotel is in a good location, near a tram stop (although if you are traveling alone you may not like cutting through the garden late at night on your own). There are shops nearby and coffee shops, as well as restaurants (a great place for breakfast/brunch and a great Indian casual eatery which was great value for money and amazing!) It is also near the Blue Peter Garden, Coronation Street, Lowry Museum and one of the Manchester Football grounds are all within easy walking distance.
