Holiday Inn Ipswich

The hotel is slightly put of town but this place has everything that you need for the night away. Rooms: Showers were good beds were comfy

Unfortunately only 1 star from me. We travelled 3.5 hours to stay here the night as we were visiting family. I've got my 5 year old son with me and trying to get him to sleep is literally impossible as we are having to put up with a barking dog. I've complained to reception and my partner also rang the hotel for me as he could hear over the phone I was stressed but both phone calls from me and my partner has resolved nothing We are very close to driving back home. They rooms are very run down and dirty. The bathroom is absolutely tiny too. I'm only tiny and I struggled get in the bathroom without getting stuck. Edit: After my partner and me moaning and having to ring reception many times. We finally got moved rooms. The air con was broken so we spent the night absolutely freezing as we were unable to turn it off. And as for the breakfast..the fry up was absolutely disgusting. I shall not be returning

Great hotel room really clean breakfast in morning great variety staff brilliant only problem was steps into pool would be great to be angled and not vertical as with limited mobility struggle to. Overall a good hotel with clean rooms and nice service. Had breakfast and it was decent

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Good parking.

Check in was easy, very friendly woman on reception. On entering the room i noticed how very very small the bathroom is, very surprised a lot more reviews not mentioned this there is some i saw that do. It's too small for the door opening or closing you can barely get in there. The door more or less touches the sink and toilet next to it. If the door was taken off and opened outwards might be better or some sliding door. I bruised myself twice getting in. No tail rack either. A bigger person would not manage getting in their without bruising their body parts or having to climb over. For this reason it's not a suitable hotel. I would imagine when holiday inn took over this building these tiny bathrooms must have already been here and they just left them in as no hotel would build them like this not practical for use. The room is quite tired but the bed was quite comfy. Just a shame about the bathrooms.

First time in a hotel I slept all through the night, the swim before bed might have helped! Delicious coffee at breakfast. Compact bedroom, but absolutely fine for me. Great service, thank you. Rooms: Found the bed very comfortable.
