We really enjoy this sushi place! Everything has always been fresh and great.
Pleasant surprise! Great sushi and ramen in a nice environment. Local patrons looked like they also knew this was high quality and authentic.
Saw good Google reviews and ramen doesn’t look bad, but ended up spending $21 (with tip, just water) for a black garlic ramen with pork belly. It looks pretty good like all other pictures in the review. BUT! very SALTY ramen with two pieces of GREASY pork belly. It's pricy for what I am getting because it’s not even reach the average expectation. The worst was the bathroom. When I walked in, it smells weird, didn’t know where it was from. Until I walked in, one toilet had stuff in, and the other ones are not cleaned. GROSS.
So I have been to many Ramen places but this establishment in Greensboro has to be the best so far!!! If you are in the mood for sushi or sake they do this as well. Tonight I decided to start with the miso soup, then the green salad that is topped with ginger dressing, but it is a big salad for 3 dollars. The Ramen portion I got the black pepper with pork belly and I also got the white tonkatsu Ramen that had a good portion of shrimp.
Everything was okay. Definitely decent ramen and sushi, pad se ew was good but not the best (steak was pretty overcooked- well done). Nothing extra special, sushi was good but nothing memorable or fantastically better than most other basic sushi places. Ramen broth was very flavorful, but ordered the spicy red chili oil that had absolutely zero spice. Found out after eating that if you actually want it to be spicy as described you have to ask for it or for special chili oil on demand. Pork belly was more fat than meat which some may prefer. Octopus takoyaki was the perfect texture, but very little octopus (one actually contained no octopus!) Seems there was a sewer or septic issue tonight with a smell throughout the entire back half of the restaurant with doors open. Service was excellent. It was a one and done for me. Nothing really wrong, but nothing really special either if you have ever had decently good thai, ramen, or sushi elsewhere. 3.5 if i could give it, the sewer smell while eating and the many air fragrances/cleaners to cover left it at 3.
Wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad, but there was nothing special. The noodles were ok, but lacked flavor. Sushi seemed fresh, but was just ok. Octopus balls had a good flavor, but the tentacles were whole inside. Again, there was nothing bad, but nothing great either.
The food and service was AMAZING!!!!
