Don't write this place off just because it's in a hotel. Unlike any other hotel restaurant I've been in. Fantastic service. Delicious food and drink. Reasonable prices. We dined here two nights in a row it's so good

Couldn’t find a more friendly staff. And even compassionate, considering the hotel is primarily hospital patients. Surprisingly affordable! Something for everyone. Dine in, take out and room service. I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes for any. (Turkey melt and fries are hot and delicious.) Excellent HOT breakfast each morning; oatmeal and toppings, eggs, breakfast meats, biscuits/gravy, French toast, cereals, breads, fresh fruits, breads, juices and excellent fresh coffee 24/7. Kid-friendliness: Nice choices of kid friendly options for dinner and breakfast.

I enjoyed this establishment. The Highland Corner Grill is attached to the Best Western Inntowner hotel where I was staying for work in the area. Seemed like after my late 10+ hour days I could easily locate a seat at the small bar and find excellent pricing on both food and drink - with both being quite tasty whether it be wings, quesadillas, burgers, salad bar beers or martini's. There are higher end meals other than pub-food as well. Bartenders and service staff were top notch with food/drink suggestions and friendly back-and-forth banter. Honestly, I felt little need to leave my hotel for nourishment during my stay in Madison. Note the Inntowner hotel uses the restaurant space for complementary breakfast in the morning. No frills/standard breakfast items that certainly are enough to get you going in the AM. One additional note - this hotel has A LOT of patrons who are in the area for very serious medical reasons and are getting treatment at the university hospital. You will see these individuals in all areas of the complex - a quick reminder of how much we (the able bodied) take for granted.
