We went here because we heard it's very gluten friendly. We had to wait over 30 minutes for someone who wasn't in our party. The waiter never brought the sushi I ordered. And when the chef was making the food he put noodles on the grill making it all poison for me. They made my food in the back. Then at the end of the meal they double charged our card. Afterwards the manager called and apologize and invited us back and ensured us that wouldn't happen again. We went back and it was the same chef. He showed us the gf soy sauce bottle. Then towards the end of the meal I noticed the chef wasn't using the gf sauce bottle but the regular. My daughter and I both have celiac disease and we were both sick before we left the table.We were very clear we have allergies and said it multiple times. This place and that chef do not give a flying frog about allergies.

Hibachi was very bland. No flavor in the chicken, steak, or noodles. The fried rice was undercooked and crunchy. The sushi was good. The restaurant smelled very clean.
Hands down my favorite hibachi place!! The only one I’ve found that will gladly accommodate gluten free and cooks it on the grill. At the end they make the noodles for everyone else at the table. It’s the only hibachi restaurant I’ve found that does this. Service is great too!

I absolutely love this place! The staff is so kind and funny, makes you feel like you are eating at a families house! Also the food is amazing. I have a shellfish and fish allergy and they are always so kind and accommodating 🩷

This place has an amazing staff as they were all super nice and friendly. I was seated immediately and they begun cooking my hibachi very soon after ordering compared to other places, in which everything tasted really good.
Update: I have meaning to update this review as I’m local to the restaurant and frequent it at least once a month.
Maybe it was a fluke during Covid, the staff remembers me always attentive and welcoming. I have done several of my kids parties here with friends and they have provided 10/10.
If I could give this place 0 I would and it's sad because I'm a local and have frequented this restaurant many times. On Wednesday after my daughters soccer game which ended at 8:50 after being placed on hold for 3 minutes I wanted to make a carry out order which stated on the website they close at 9:30pm. I was told they could not accept my order because the kitchen is closed. I asked to speak to a manager and the asst.manager came to the phone her name was Jen, and said she cannot take an order because they are slow and the kitchen closes early if they are slow. This is a business establishment that has the hours posted for a reason. I asked if I was going to walk into the restaurant and wanted to be seated 40 minutes before closing would you seat me her answer was no. I asked for her manager that I would follow-up with the following day she had told me to speak with Alexa. Called today to speak to a manager clearly I didn't want to speak to Jen so I asked who am I speaking with and the lady said we don't give names out. I don't want anything for free a simple apology for a customer that frequents your restaurant and your sister restaurant have lost my business. It's very sad that during this pandemic a business didn't want to take a carry out order of over $80 and no apology was made. Case solved they have lost my families business and it's very disappointing as my kids loved to visit both sumo sushi and Hibachi house. To the owner you definitely need to install hospitality in your so called managers.
