This place has an amazing happy hour! The drinks are great, service exceptional and the atmosphere very relaxed. I came from Arizona and couldn't wait to try this place. The gumbo was really good!
I went for lunch on a Friday with a colleague from work. Our service was wonderful, our waitress was a dear! The atmosphere was wonderful kind of a casual New Orleans/ French vibe but two things I think its needs (and these are kind of nitpicky): 1) for being New Orleans inspired the only thing that suggested that was the menu (and the name) some more ambiance would be nice and 2) the table was small. We sat at a table for two but between the drinks, appetizer plates, main course plates and then the bottles of hot sauce and other detritus there was no room on the table to actually comfortably eat! The food was wonderful but the reason I gave it a three is that there weren't a lot of options for non-red meat or non-pork eaters. Even the salads had bacon or pork sausage. I ended up getting a shrimp roll - which was wonderful but other than the spinach dip appetizer was basically the only thing I could order with out being obnoxious and asking for half the ingredients to be removed from a dish (which I have asked for before but I don't like being 'that' person.) Dietary restrictions: Be careful not a lot of options
Some of the best food I’ve tasted I’ve never been to New Orleans but I don’t have to. I’m satisfied right here
I ordered the mac n cheese (SO much flavor!) for takeout at the bar and asked about seasonal cocktails. Decided on "Maple of your eye" . Epic food, great drink. Thanks yall
Omaha-- y'all are sleepin on this place!! Atmosphere , food and service ✨️✨️were all spectacular. When you go, get the Nola Shrimp- you won't regret it! And the Jambalaya was chef's kiss. I've lived in Omaha for the last 12 years and this is the best of the best!
Our party of eight dined at Herb Sainte, during Mardi Gras. The staff was very accommodating, the waitress gracious, and the atmosphere lovely. Moreover, the food was delicious - red beans and rice, po boys, etouffee, etc. When you long for some excellent Southern/Louisiana food this should be your go to! We'll definitely be back!
Let's talk about the brunch I just experienced this pas weekend at Herbe Sainte.. The Bananas Foster French Toast might be one of the most incredible French toast dishes I've ever had. I'm not sure what type of bread they used, or where it came from, but I think it must have some sort of addictive narcotic as a secret ingredient... I will probably be dreaming about it for months to come. The Cajun Eggs Benny was phenomenal as well, but since it doesn't include ice cream on the plate, it sadly takes second place in this meal The Applewood smoked bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, the hollandaise was flavorful, and the poached egg was probably one of the most beautifully textured I've seen on a plate in a long time. To top it off, the NOLA taters were crispy, and the perfect amount of spicy. The atmosphere at HS is always fun and inviting, the server was friendly and attentive, and we were sat right away without a wait. I love stopping by here for dinner, and now I'm excited to finally have experienced their incredible brunch offering as well.
