I usually go to the location on Tatum.. but I live closer to this one so I thought I’d try.. the food here seems as they just warm up the food and serve it. The food was not good honestly
We visited Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll for the first time at the Shea Blvd location on a Saturday night. It was eerily quiet for a Saturday evening. This is definitely the nicest Vietnamese restaurant I have ever been to! It is clean, spacious, modern, and inviting. I was really amazed at the robot that carry the food to the tables. Service is friendly and prompt. We had a few appetizers, and they were delicious; we had wings and eggrolls. I really liked the variety of drinks on the menu that are not typically offered at other Asian restaurants. Unfortunately, our entrees were just alright...the taste was kind of bland and I couldn't eat it all. The main entrees were disappointing. I would try Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll again, perhaps at a different location.
I'm going to be completely honest, I'm disappointed with this location. I usually go to the Tatum location, but I decided to give this one a try. I knew something was wrong when the food came out almost as soon as I set my butt down on the chair. The steak and chicken are pale, and not as flavorful as the other location. It was obviously pre-cooked and just warmed up. I'm sick and tired of places throwing things in a box like slop for 20 bucks. That's what I get for trying a new location. I'll stick to the Tatum restaurant from now on. I hate it when I get food to go, and I have to go home and doctor it to my liking. I should never have to do that when I pay 20 bucks for a meal. Do better.
I dined in for pho and it was delicious. However, when I ordered takeout I was disappointed to find that the soup was so lukewarm that the noodles never fully dissolved. It was a very disappointing experience considering I paid $20 for the meal after a $2 tip and taxes (the website makes you manually enter $0 tip.). I paid the $2 tip anyways because I had a good experience last time and I was worried they'd mess with my food if I went out of my way to do a $0 tip. Well even with a $2 tip (for picking up my own food), I got cold pho. I should have just gotten McDonald's for lunch.
First time here. Friendly and attentive staff. Quick service. Delicious food!
The Hello Vietnam location at Shea is the best. My kids and I absolutely adore this place and everything on the menu, From the crispy and fresh calamari to the aromatic pho. we find ourselves coming back at least once a week , and that's if I'm being conservative. The elegant ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. I cannot praise this place highly enough! Blanca and Maria really know how to take care of you
Good curry. My cousin was able to sub rice with noodles.
Take out review. When the temps drop in the desert I love to get pho from this place. In the summer my choices tend to be cold food. My husband surprised me with take out lunch on Monday - always a nice surprise - with chicken pho for me and shrimp curry (yellow) for him. It was so good, hit the spot and warmed our bodies. We both ate the entire serving. When we have dined in we usually have some to take home. They are being more thoughtful in their packages for take out: the brown boxes go in the trash, the plastic containers are recyclable (clean and dry them first) and the bags that the liquids are packed in are recyclable at the grocery store bag drop off (clean and dry). Thank you, procurement team at Hello Vietnam Pho & Roll!
