Visited Hello India Plano and placed phone order of vegetarian dishes(festival week). I have tasted their non veg and they are pretty decent. With that assumption ordered Paneer Tikka, Mushroom masala, Bhaighan Bharatha, Badam milk. It’s disappointing. I’m sure Paneer tikka was hard, smelly, frozen. Mushroom masala is having ample quantity but taste was bland. Nothing specific to mention of bhaighan. Badam milk is decent. Spoke to Vamsi who reverted saying checked and tasted everything looks good. He requested if I can visit with spoiled tikka which was already trashed. He was kind enough to offer credit but asked to visit restaurant which I might not do. 4 stars for Vamsi and 1 star for food. Bad day for me. $ down the drain.
Small place and crowded, slow service and now a days food is not that great. Cleanliness is bad.
Tables are not cleaned as needed.
Love their paneer biryani 😍
A day before I bought a fried chicken Biriyani from Plano hello India. Whole family got food infection and I had to take my daughter to urgent care. My wife had allergic reactions because of the food. We informed the restaurant and they never responded back.
usually the tiffins are great, posting this review as today the person who took the order, was deliberately giving the wrong order to us, there was no other customer to be confused with. Thankfully the other worker asked what i ordered and corrected the order, and the person who made the mistake wasnt even sorry.
In almost many year, we have only been to Hello India for Irani chai and Samosa. Its good.
Last week, our friend booked their banquet space for a gender reveal party of 35-40 people. And it was the best decision. Food (pure veg) served at party was extremely delicious and very good in quantity. We never tasted their food and still took a chance and it was a right shot. One person helped us throughout evening and was very cooperative. Booking, payment and menu finalizing process was very smooth. They are flexible and cooperates well. Cheers to them for getting us perfect place for such a lifetime event.
Few things to consider if you're looking for a banquet:
.They provided only one rectangular table to keep our stuff and game items, so negotiate on that
. Banquet ambience is not great, but it has everything you need in good pricing
. Max 45-50 people fits in, more than that would make the place congested
Good food. Bhiryani and punugalu are very good. You get India vibes here.
I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I waited for 40 minutes just to get two dosas, and when they finally arrived, both were burnt. To make things worse, they came with barely any chutneys. The food quality was really poor.
What was even more shocking was that I noticed the person making the dosas was eating right there in the kitchen, perviously which raises serious hygiene concerns. I shouldn’t have returned after seeing this.
I definitely don’t recommend getting dosas here. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience, and I won’t be returning.
