A wonderful day out! All the staff were so friendly and good fun. We had Steve for 1 mine tour who was brilliant. He had such a great dry sense of humour and delivery. The other mine tour was with Rose, dressed as a Victorian lady, which was also brilliant fun. Another stand out was the Victorian lady dressed in purple ( Abigail?) and the gentleman, (Brian?). The cable car ride up and down is incredible and a little scary for a coward like me, but great views over the beautiful Derbyshire countryside. Top day out. Everywhere was ao clean and tidy and just fab value. Thank you.
Fantastic visit. Staff are so friendly. But this lady, Abigail Brassington, was an absolute star. She kindly watched over our Willow whilst we went into the cavern together. What a absolute kind and golden heart you have. In case we didn't say it enough, thank you, thank you and thank you again. You've definitely got a friend for life We also want to say a massive thank you to Melanie, the Cavern tour guide, she was fantastic! Absolute 10/10. She made us laugh a lot, she kept it interesting and informative in such a fun way. To top it off she was incredible with Willow. Gave her a lot of fuss and attention and treated her so well. Thank you Melanie. Infact. Can I just thank every single staff member that was on today? Honestly, everyone was fantastic and so loving towards willow and very friendly and approachable. It just made our day. All of the staff, keep doing what you're doing, you're all incredible. #AbigailBrassingtonHeightsofabraham #MelanieHeightsofabraham #HeightsofabrahamStaff
Really enjoyed the cable car ride and the facilities on site were great. Kids loved the playgrounds and the victorian guided tour of the lead mine was funny and informative. We didn't have time to do everything on offer in our 3-4hrs
A must do activity whilst in Matlock. Caves are brilliant and the cable ride was lots of fun. Lots to do when up there.
Well worth a few hours visit. Both caves are interesting, and the tour guides we had in both were very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Lots to learn here. Good views and photo opportunities from the many sightseeing areas.
Nice place to have a day out, lots to do and see. Lady called Tina at the cable cars was quite rude and unfriendly though. We were a group of 7 and wanted to sit as a 3 and 4, there wasn't much of a queue at all, Tina wasn't very accommodating and had a strop that we didn't want to join the group of 3 in front of us - she asked other people behind us and they also refused. You're paying for the attraction and there wasn't a queue, I think you're entitled to choose no to sit in a cable car with strangers!
Didn't go went straight on past and up High Tor walk and giddy edge single file cliff top walk Not for the faint hearted Great views.
Really great day. Everyone was friendly from the cable car station to the tour guide really helpful and friendly. Clean and well looked after. The guides around the caves were very interesting. We spent around 4 hrs and we don't have kids you could easily spend the whole day here with kids. I think really good value when you consider what you get and compared to the rest of the peak district.
