Heaven Sent Fried Chicken

It was pretty empty and the lobby was closed off. I didn't care as we weren't staying to eat anyway. It was a to go order. But the gluten free chicken is one of THE BEST. So hard to find..and it was just like fried chicken. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free! Sooooooo Deeeeee Lic ious!!!

Love the chicken here! It's not greasy like kfc or over breaded.

Warmth. Kindness. Good food. Coming in here feels like there is some long history you couldn't possibly know by just coming in once. I overheard a long time customer saying to the lady behind the register that she's been here so long she should have her own place by now and they laughed together. They gave me an extra chicken thigh which I actually needed today, been a little short on money and could only get four. Not that they knew that though. A happy place to be.

I ordered a large spicy strip with fries and a Faygo. The price was a bit more than expected, $30. I was upset when I got home to realize I had no rolls in my order. When I tried to call to let them know that they messed up my order 30 minutes before closing, nobody answered the phone. The food was good as usual. But I am disappointed in the service. Won't go back for a while.

The chicken was ok (not great but also not bad) but I had a really bad experience here. I called ahead and placed an order to go. I asked for dark meat only and was told “absolutely no problem”. Only to find out later that they over-charged me 25% because of the dark meat request. Probably not going back again anytime soon.

Wish we could eat at the restaraunt. Also wish they had a non-crispy option for chicken. Otherwise great!

Cold food and dry chicken. I'm a black man that loves fried chicken and this bird has no flavor and over cooked. How is this establishment not having blacks cooking in the kitchen. Ezells your being cheap.

The restaurant smelled absolutely terrible it totally ruined our appetites….yall really need to do a deep clean or something because it smells so bad….the food itself wasn’t great, not a lot of flavor and just pretty blah…definitely won’t be returning
