I've been going here since they opened! Moved away a year ago and still crave their Yaki Udon (no chicken, add beef) & bao buns frequently. Visited home recently and had to hit this place up. Service, ambiance, and food has stayed true over all this time. Loved that the menu has also changed quite a bit! All good things. Definitely recommend.
I liked the place, the atmosphere was very cozy and the best of all are the Singapore noodles and the drinks, I love them
We were 3 and we spent USD 56 (around €55) with a 20% tip (which is mandatory in the U.S.), only 1 plate and tap water.
The portions were big, the biggest one was the noodles with vegetables. The Korean BBQ was an OK portion, but I would recommend having something else also. And with the Bao bread sandwiches I would definitely recommend having a starter or a second, it was very good, but for a teenager it wasn't enough.
The decoration is really good, and cozy. The waiter (sorry I don't remember your name), it was really nice.
I would recommend the place if you like Asian food, because you have so many different options on the menu.
Our server Anastasia was amazing and the food was delicious!
We love hawkers, we live nearby and go here all the time as our go to restaurant. It’s a great vibe and the food is consistently good every time we go. Anastasia was our server this time and she was amazing!
10/10 experience yum food and our server Anastasia was epic.
This place is really cute. Nice atmosphere and good food. Thanks Anastasia for being attentive and kind.
The pad thai was really good.
I am giving this place a full mark as an Asian fusion place. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food or any other Asian countries food, you can find better places.
Similarly that's why I am giving 4 for service as I'm hoping more from an Asian fusion place than regular Chinese restaurants.
We got coconut shrimp, noodle soup with dumplings, string beans and fried noodle with beef. If you are fine with breaded string beans deep fried, which again means you are ok with everything to be just Asian fusion but not authentic, then you like me probably will be happy here. Nothing authentic, but tastes okay.
Delicious dishes, many varieties. Service was fast in delivering main course appetizer came after we were halfway through lunch. Sauce tray was delivered when we had almost finished.
Spicy chicken appetizer, and bai buns, not listed below, are good
I love this place. I've been going here since they've opened andcannot say enough good things. I have sat with the manager Martina since she was a bartender and she is kind and always willing to help. I keep coming back for a reason. Their food is fantastic.
really good food! our server faith was great and the food came to us pretty fast. one of my favs in bethesda
Absolutely love the inside of this place. My boyfriend said I looked radiant in the red neon lighting. We ordered the poutine, which as a Canadian, I was obligated to do so. While not a traditional poutine, it was still delicious and would recommend, the curry gravy sauce was just excellent. The hawker wings had a nice crisp on them, however we did not realize they were dipping wings and would not be tossed. I would also recommend the lo mein. Our server Faith was a delight and gave us the recommendation for the roti which comes with that curry gravy as a dipping sauce. Be sure to stop next time you’re in Bethesda!
Great place, Faith was a great waitress. Good environment and great service.
